What is Clinical Hypnotherapy?
Clinical hypnotherapy uses a calm, focused state of attention, similar to the moment just before sleep, to work directly with the subconscious mind. You stay aware and in control throughout the session.
Who it can help
It is often used for anxiety, phobias, low confidence, emotional eating, smoking and other habits, and stress that keeps coming back despite your best efforts.
What a session is like
After a conversation about what you would like to change, Dr Purvi guides you into deep relaxation and uses carefully chosen suggestions and imagery. Most people describe the experience as peaceful and restful.
Frequently asked questions
No. You remain aware of your surroundings and can open your eyes and speak at any time. Hypnosis cannot make you do anything against your values.
Many people notice a shift within three to six sessions. Your plan is agreed after the first consultation.
